Can I use more hours than my plan allows? How do extra hours work?

If your VA uses your remaining balance, the Task Portal will automatically "top up" your balance with extra time. This allows your VA to continue supporting you!

What tasks CAN Virtalent help me with?

We can with a wide range of tasks! Just remember that a VA is there to assist you, rather than act as an advisor or consultant.

How do I define a role for my VA?

To help you leverage your time as effectively as possible, we recommend working together with your VA to build out a clearly defined, ongoing long-term role for your VA. Avoid delegating piecemeal tasks by working in a way that adds as much value to your day as possible. Recurring processes require minimum input from you!

What tasks can Virtalent NOT help me with?

At Virtalent, we naturally feel it's sensible to avoid helping any client with anything that requires a highly-specialised professional, or anything that doesn't sit well with the sustainable approach we take to working with clients.

I have something that my Virtual Assistant can't me help with. What should I do?

If your Virtalent VA can't help, we're sure someone else can be added to your account. Just let us know!

Can my VA pay for things using my Credit Card?

If your VA needs to use your Credit or Debit card to make payments on your behalf, there are a number of ways to safely share these details, including LastPass and Passpack. It's also possible to use a prepaid debit card for frequent expenses, such as Pockit and Google Pay.

Can I meet with my VA in-person?

It depends. We are a remote-first service, but if you are both happy, it can be possible to arrange.

How often should I "check in" with my VA?

It's important that you both review how your relationship is going to ensure your VA continues to add value to your day, even as things change. Setting aside time to ensure your VA has everything they need from you (and you have everything you need from them!), to discuss the progress of any ongoing tasks/projects and plan the weeks ahead will only take a 10 minute 'hello' on the phone, but can make a huge difference!
